Support Sail GI and teaching veterans to sail with these fun Sunday races!

Sail GI is 501c3 non-profit that is located on the beautiful island of Grosse Ile, and partnered with the Ford Yacht Club.
Our mission is to promote safe boating through education, instruction, and experiences both on and off the water.
Learning opportunities are available to members of the Ford Yacht Club, US Military Veterans, US Military Active Duty, and First Responders.
Possible scholarships accessible for US Military Veterans, US Military Active Duty and First Responders. These races help fund those scholarships!
Sunday Dacron Races are available to any boat. We will assign you a base rating. For every US Military Veterans, US Military Active Duty, and First Responder you have on board, we will credit you 5 seconds per mile!
Upon the Finish of the race - 1st place will be penalized 10 seconds/mile for the next Dacron race that yacht competes in. 2nd place will be penalized 5 seconds/mile for the next Dacron race that yacht competes in. Last place (unless last place is 2nd place) will be credited 10 seconds per mile
