Race from downtown Detroit to the southern end of Grosse Ile

One of the most unique sailing races in the country! Race down the Detroit River from Belle Isle to south Grosse Ile.
Please come and join us at Detroit Yacht Club on Friday evening, July 29th. Use the pool or wander the docks and enjoy camaraderie with your fellow event participants, then enjoy dinner and dancing at DYC throughout the evening on your own schedule based on your arrival time. During the race, participating power yachts may follow the race down the river, enjoying the spectacle, and serve as patrol boats. Following the race, we will have an afterglow at our club with live music from 3-7 pm. This is an event that is not to be missed in the summer of 2016, so we hope all who can attend will participate.
